Then, once the selection is narrowed down, we send actual samples of the products. 2) Can I use a personal check or money order to pay for my rug? A) Yes. We do accept personal checks, money orders, cashier checks, and bank drafts. Rugs purchased with a personal check will be shipped once the check has cleared. You can also pay directly online with a check. 3) Is it safe to use my credit card online? A) Yes. At Georgia Mills Direct we take your security very seriously. When you make a purchase online, via our secure server, your credit or debit card, name and address are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, before being transmitted over the Internet. If you are still unsure about sending your credit card details to us via the Internet, please use one of our additional payment options. 4) Can I place my order over the telephone? A) Yes. We have a toll free telephone number that may be used for placing orders or requesting information. Our toll free phone number is 1-800-810-7847 (RUGS), 9pm - 5pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday. 5) Are your rugs first quality? A) Yes. We only sell top quality products at Georgia Mills Direct. 6) What will my shipping and handling cost be if I purchase an item from your store? A) There are no shipping and handling costs on any of our products unless it is previously discussed, you live in Alaska, or Hawaii or your order is under $50, then you will be charged a $10 shipping and handling fee. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, you will be notified by e-mail of the additional costs involved before your order is placed with the mill. Once you have been notified of the additional costs and approve them, we will then place your order! 7) Do I pay sales tax? A) Only if you live in NY State: in which case you will be charged your Local Tax Percentage. 8) How long does it take to get my rug? A) Rugs that are in stock are ready for immediate shipping. Depending on your location, it will take from 7 to 14 business days to receive your rug as long as it is in stock. If the rug you ordered is not in stock, we will immediately notify you of the expected shipping date. 9) How will my rug be shipped? A) We ship either by UPS or Federal Express. 10) What credit cards do you accept? A) We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 11) Do you sell rugs other than the ones you have pictured on your web site? A) Yes, We sell all rugs manufactured by the companies listed on our web site, although, we may not have all their rugs pictured. We also continue to add new suppliers that have not yet been listed on the web site. If you are interested in a rug not pictured on the web site, whether from one of the companies listed, or from a company we do not yet have listed, please use the price quote form to request information from us on the rug you are interested in. 12) What is your return policy? A) Our return policy is, all goods received must be returned within 15 days of delivery. If any goods are damaged during delivery or any other reason, you must notify us by e-mail or phone within 5 days of receiving your product. We will immediately notify you of what steps to take. Please contact Georgia Mills Direct Customer Service @ 1-800-810-7847 or email service@georgiamills.com for a Return Authorization Number for your return. Returns must be made within 15 days after delivery. If for any reason it is longer than 15 days, returns will not be accepted! There are no restocking fees on orders under $500.00 in value. Any orders over $500.00 are charged a restocking fee. The restocking fees vary from mill to mill and you will be given the charge before your return is authorized. NO exceptions! Customer is responsible for all aspects of the return including any charges and set up of the shipping back to the location provided. Any damaged or defective goods will be replaced as soon as possible. Any custom , special and clearance orders are not returnable. |
